Run Log Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

Run Log shows your workouts from Apple Health in an easy-to-read format. This page explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data stays on your phone.

What the app reads

With your permission, Run Log reads your running workouts: date and time, duration, distance, heart rate, calories and elevation from Apple Health. It only reads. It never writes to Apple Health.

Where your data goes

Nowhere. Run Log has no account, no server and no cloud storage. Workouts are read from Apple Health and kept in the app's own storage on your device so it opens quickly. Your settings (units, text size, appearance) are stored the same way.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, sell, share or transmit your personal information, and the app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking.

Sharing a picture

The Share button on the calendar creates a picture of a month. It is only sent where you choose to send it, using the standard iPhone share sheet.

Deleting your data

In the app, Settings > Saved Data > "Clear saved data & settings" removes everything the app keeps. Deleting the app removes it all. Your Apple Health data is not affected. You can turn off access at any time in iPhone Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Run Log.

Children

Run Log is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
